Hiro is the son of a werewolf and human with the curse (read: genetics) passed down to him. It isn't life destroying; he can't wear silver, his ears get itchy, and sometimes he has the urge to transform regardless of the moon phases.
That's life and he deals with the glitches that may come. Most the time he runs human, or human-ish, and no one is the wiser crossing paths with him on the street. Unless that person can sense magic. He does not wallow in melodramatic self pity over his condition. Sure, there those days of annoyance, yet being a bipedal wolf man has some parks.
The long standing stereotype of mindless feral beast is gone with the old fear. Hiro is a calm guy with a long fuse. The sort that almost appears stone faced and whose jokes may come across too straight laced; bar the puns and reach for terrible punchlines to get across he means well. He does not dive into tremulous situations by the drop of the hat with fangs and fist first.
His early life is not unique by his setting. Good parents, good friends, and fair at school. His werewolf heritage cast a shadow and his proneness of being 'reserved' stems from this. For the most part, Hiro chill guy with a calm exterior; A contradiction to the stereotype of emotional outburst or instinct driven werewolves.
As a werewolf, there is a change in his demeanor. Beyond the increase in physical mass, height, and canine elements, Hiro is less reserved and uncertain of his words.
As relationships go, he's a giver or equal about the balance of things. H has a tendency to overthink and has a sense of humor about berating his more wolfish traits; in good humor of course, he's only somewhat bothered by the weirdness he deals with.
When nervous though he tends to ramble or run on with what's being said. It's obvious as well since the more he goes on, the less organized thoughts become. Conversely, subjects or people who have his interest may draw the same rambling. His upbringing has instilled a sense of integrity and need to be trustworthy. He's sort of gullible, that is to say he's easy to rattle about things and get him overthinking to flustered.

- His wolf form varies from sporting ears and a tail to full on bipedal werewolf. He can't linger in the middle of transforming for long, but sometimes he's able to repress it back.
- His voice is fairly deep and tone dry. Not to say he is emotionless, he's simply reserved and does smile.
- In werewolf form or as he transforms, he's less reserved and talkative.
- Physically he's a tad short than average, though his hair gives the illusion he isn't
- He has a natural tan look about him, dark hair, and blue eyes. The hair carries over into his wolf forms, his eyes take a slight tent of gold around the blue.
- Normally his strength is above average and the more he tunes into his other side the stronger he becomes at the expense of other traits
- A jack of all trades that moves through limited run jobs.
- Smart, in the knowledge of trivia way, but thinks he's of average intelligence.
- Werewolves are but one of numerous super natural beings in his world. There's a plethora from vampires to the more alien, the common theme being magic is abundant and normal.
- It's not the largest city in the world. It's big, but not New York. Inter-dimension magic does make some places look bigger on the inside.
- Lives outside the city in a small 'burb.
- Sex, and being supernatural, are relaxed social norms.
